roller derby
so i play flat track roller derby as pony soprano which is the gayest shit on planet earth and i mean that homosexually. roller derby is a full contact team sport in which each team has four blockers and one jammer. jammers score points by passing opposing blockers, blockers stop jammers from getting points by physically blocking them, and then there's the pivot, which is like a gayass special blocker who can take over as the jammer if the jammer gets super stuck and cant get any points. thats the one i like to play because i love being the main character and i am an insane person.
i'm currently in my fourth season as a skater. i play blocker/pivot for south simcoe rebel rollers. here are some pics of me and my team looking like total effing hotties because we are.
i skate on antik jet carbons (the old model) with powerdyne reactor fuse plates. my toe stops are jupiters and i take that shit dead ass serious. most of my wheels are radar halos. my bearings are the cheap ones because i wear through them at the speed of light. all my pads are 187 killer pads and my knee pads specifically are the heavy duty derby ones that are like excessively thick. my helmet is a red sparkly s1, it's not that exciting.
